Playing Catch Up

It’s pretty amazing how much work goes into running a business.  I worked all weekend long on paperwork for the clinic.  While I worked on paperwork, Chad cleaned the clinic.  It looks amazing!!!  I feel so blessed to have a husband who isn’t afraid to clean.

I did get a little overwhelmed at one point.  I’m finding it incredibly challenging finding balance. I told Chad I felt like I was drowning yesterday afternoon.  He took charge, told me I needed a break, and took me to see Thor at the dollar theatre.  You have to love a theatre that only takes cash and charges $1.50 per ticket.

I managed to get two workouts in this weekend:

1st WOD:
Strength:
ME: Floor Press
5  minutes rest
MetCon:
9-6-3 for time of:
Push Jerk 185/125
Dead Hang Pull ups

I maxed out at 90 lbs. on the floor press.
My time was 3:14 with 75 lbs. push jerks
I still can’t do dead hang pull ups unassisted.  I did the first round with the blue band (medium).  I only got 2 in my 2nd round with the blue band, and did the rest with the green band (heavy).  My goal is to do this workout as prescribed in 6 months.

2nd WOD:
4 rounds each for time of:
3 Power Cleans 185/125
10 Burpees

I finished this workout in 4:16 doing 85 lbs. power cleans.  My goal is to do this workout as prescribed in 3 months.

Overall, it was a great weekend.  I missed the kids, but we get them for another two weeks starting tomorrow.  I got a lot of paperwork done, got in two awesome WOD’s, and spent some much-needed quality time with my husband.  I’m looking forward to seeing what next week brings!
