Physically, I’m going through a really tough time. I hurt…constantly. It sucks. The bright side? My husband kicks ass!
When we said, “through sickness and health, for better for worse,” I wasn’t counting on the sickness (injury) and worse happening so soon in our marriage. I’ve been in constant pain since the end of July (damn Smart car). I’ve had injections in my neck and surgery on my shoulder. I’ve gained 15 lbs in 2.5 weeks thanks to the steroid injections. Basically, I’m a hot mess. And you know what? My husband is taking such great care of me! He anticipates my needs and reminds me that God has a plan for me in all of this. He’s an amazing spiritual leader. And on top of it all, he’s totally hot! I am so grateful to God for sending me such an amazing man. How did I get so lucky?
